Craig W. Netterfield, CFA
Craig is the founding partner of Columbia Lake Partners. Previously he was a Partner at Wellington Financial LP, providing growth capital loans to technology firms based in Canada and the United States.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2005, Craig worked at a mid-market financial advisory firm providing merger, acquisition advisory and business planning services. Previously, he was a Regional Director at Russell Investments (1999-2003). He started his career as a Systems Engineer with Xerox Canada where he held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility over eight years.
Craig earned his Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) degree from The University of Waterloo. He earned his Masters of Business Administration (with distinction) from the Ivey School of Business and was awarded the Ivey Scholar for academic excellence. Craig is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Donatella joined Columbia Lake Partners in 2014. She is involved in the entire deal life cycle including assessing, evaluating and post investment monitoring. Donatella is focused particularly on CLP relationships with the equity sponsors ecosystem and on identifying high growth technology companies in need of growth financing that best suits CLP’s investment criteria.
Prior to joining CLP, Donatella spent seven years working at Kreos Capital, managing several aspects of the investment process on a pre-term sheet and post-term sheet basis as well as managing the portfolio for technology and life science companies based in the UK, continental Europe and Israel.
Donatella also managed various levels of the fund corporate governance for Kreos II, Kreos III and Kreos IV funds. Prior to this, Donatella worked in trust management. She holds a degree in Business Management from Birkbeck College, University of London and speaks both Italian and English.
Chief Financial Officer
Ed is the Chief Financial Officer of Columbia Lake Partners. He joined Columbia Lake Partners from Silicon Valley Bank where he was the Director of Finance and Treasury of their London branch since 2010.
Before working at Silicon Valley Bank, Ed was the Financial Controller at ETV Capital, a venture debt firm providing financing to hardware, software, information technology and life sciences companies in Europe.
Ed is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers in South Africa and later also worked in their San Francisco office. He holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
Stephanie Opdam is an Senior Associate at Columbia Lake Partners. She is responsible for the screening of investment opportunities, financial analysis, structuring, due diligence and portfolio management of debt relationships with technology companies.
Prior to joining CLP, Stephanie worked as an Intern Structured Finance at NIBC Bank and as an Intern Product Development at ITPreneurs in the Netherlands.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc), International Business Administration (with distinction) from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained a Master of Science (MSc), Finance & Private Equity (with merit) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
George Bartlett is an Investment Manager at Columbia Lake Partners. He is responsible for the financial analysis, structuring, documentation, and management of debt relationships with technology companies.
Prior to joining CLP, George worked as a Senior Analyst in the technology lending team at Square 1 Bank.
George graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economic and Social History (First Class) from the University of Liverpool
Daniel Bull is an Investment Manager at Columbia Lake Partners. He is responsible for the sourcing, financial analysis, structuring, documentation, and management of debt relationships with technology companies.
Prior to joining CLP, Daniel worked as an Assistant Vice President in the Venture Capital Group at Comerica Bank in San Francisco.
Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
